WELCOME ARTISTS

We are ARTSCO, a new art council for Saline County Illinois.  We are devoted to supporting, promoting and advocating for all of the arts in Saline County plus some of the surrounding area. One of our goals for 2023 is to host a juried fine art fair.  We are inviting artists of all mediums to come out and display and sell their art. We are hoping this will be a beautiful display of local talent as well as a chance for the public to bring local fine art home with them.

Art on the Hill will be taking place Saturday May 6th 10am - 6pm & Sunday May 7th 12pm-5pm out at St. Stephens on the Hill in Eldorado.  Set up will be Friday May 5th from 2-7pm.  This event will be rain or shine as the venue is a gorgeous functioning wedding venue and has a fantastic outdoor tent for inclement weather. We are planning to have food trucks, wine tastings and live music.  Guests will be required to pay a $5 parking fee per car. 

Booths are $50 for a 10x10 or $75 for a 10x20.  Every booth will have electricity available. We can provide some tables and chairs if needed.  These booths will be under the big tent. You are also welcome to bring your own tent area and set up outside of the main tent.  Same fees apply. Refunds only offered before April 1st.

Artist Vendor Eligibility

  • All work must be artistic original work.  Crafts, kits, imports, mass-produced items, or MLM products are not allowed.

  • ARTSCO jury will view all submissions and make selections based on artistic merit and quality of workmanship.

Submission deadline is February 24th. Artsco members will notify those accepted no later than March 1st.

Artist Amenities

  • Load and unload at booth site.  Condition of grounds permitting

  • 24 hour security.  Venue is down a private lane surrounded by beautiful farm land.  General public does not have access to property.

  • Booth sitting by ARTSCO volunteers if needed.

  • Comfortable real restrooms with running water and air conditioning.

  • Large event tent protection from most inclement weather.

  • Indoor break room with refreshments for artists only.
