2nd Annual 2023 Sasquatch Festival Art Contest

Come and join the Second Annual 2023 Sasquatch Festival ART CONTEST!!!!

We are accepting all art mediums. Photography, painting, sculpture, etc. We would like to see things that are themed around nature/The Shawnee National Forest. Bonus points if Squatch is in it or if it's of a Southern Illinois Landmark.

THIS YEAR, ALL OF THE ART WILL BE HANGING IN THE GEORGE T. DENNIS GALLERY AT SIC THE ENTIRE MONTH OF OCTOBER!!!!!!!

We have prizes for 4 categories:

Photography

Traditional art (all mediums)

Squatch art (any art that features Sasquatch)

Kids (0-17 years old, all mediums)

Each winner will receive a “squatchie” trophy and a monetary prize (TBA)

Submit images of your art to us by emailing artsalineco@gmail.com BY SEPTEMBER 18TH.

PLEASE PUT "SASQUATCH ART SUBMISSION" IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR EMAIL. In the email please add your name, phone number and which category you are submitting for.

We will notify those who’s art is accepted in to the show by SEPTEMBER 22ND. Art will need to be delivered in person NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 27TH.

The show will run October 1st through 30th.

Winners will be announced October 6th and can come by our booth on the 7th at the festival to pick up their prizes.
