CRASH COURSE IN CERAMICS WITH ASHLEY PRIDDY
Crash Course in Ceramics will be a project-based introduction to clay. Two sessions will be offered for the span of three weeks, one in the morning and one in the evening to accommodate a variety of schedules! During week one, our three hour session will include an intro to clay and handbuilding techniques with the goal of creating at least one functional and decorative piece: i.e. pinch pots, mugs, coasters. During week two, our three hour session will include an intro to clay and wheel throwing with the goal of creating at least one functional and decorative piece: i.e. bowls, vases, planters. Once all pieces are fired, you will choose a day to return during our third week and you will learn how to glaze your final pieces.
